Green Peach or Prunus
It is a perennial tree of almonds belonging to the pink family, reaching about four meters in height, with dark green oval-shaped leaves, and white-pink flowers that resemble cherry blossoms, are similar in size to red peach fruits and are distinguished by a line divided by two halves which are a common fruit in the Levant and Turkey.
It has many names including:
Prunus, plum cherry, peach, geranium, cherry peach, green peach, short summer fruit is eaten with salt, people rush to buy it due to its limitations and small quantities and its season is limited to only two months per year, so its trade is considered during two months and after that, it enters into many Industries, for example, with dietary fiber, antioxidants, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus. Green cherry, geranium, considered to be spring-summer fruits rich in mineral salts, and it is one of the natural sources that supply the body with abundant amounts of potassium and energy.
Prunus trade is considered one of the most important trades, especially in the fruit section, because it only has a two-month season, and this depends on the intense competition for it because its quantities are low and its prices are very high.

- Third: Supplying it in refrigerators, stacking it as pickles and storing water and salt, then selling and trading in it after its season.
