How to Achieve Effective Communication with The Team

If you ask more than one person to do something, no one will do it

It has a negative effect on your business. When you want someone to do a task for you, don’t say, “Let someone do this for me.” Rather, identify a specific person and ask him to do so. If you tell everyone what you want at the same time, everyone will ignore that request because there are others who can do it.

Actions are important

This is essential in business. Your actions after speaking are just as important, because if you do not do what you have said, people will not trust that you will really do what you will say in the future.

Study your body language

Your body language can be more powerful than words. Make sure to make eye contact with everyone. Stay relaxed while talking. Speak in a friendly, calm manner, and control the movement of your arms.

Stay silent sometimes

If you are not familiar with the topic, do not engage into conversations and discussions about it. Your advice can backfire and tarnish your relationships and future opportunities.

Be prepared to say “No”

Unfortunately, most of us want to be liked by others, so we tend to say “Yes” even if the thing we stand for is the opposite. Be prepared to say “No” when needed. Explain the reasons and then try to offer alternatives.
